    restaurants with patios in billings

When the weather warms up in Billings, it seems as if the whole town moves outdoors. And, patio dining is a favorite here in Billings. New to the area? Check out our list, below.

    The Fieldhouse

Two words: donut holes. Who serves donut holes for desert? The Fieldhouse does and, stuffed with cream and candied kumquat, they’re to die for.

Number two reason for visiting the Fieldhouse? Happy hour gives you half off all wine and beer pours, Wednesdays through Saturdays from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Take your drinks outside to the patio next to the restaurant’s herb garden.

The Fieldhouse is open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. for brunch and Monday through Saturday for dinner from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. You’ll find them at 2601 Minnesota Ave. in Downtown Billings. Call them at (406) 534-2556.

    Broadway Deli & Cafe

There are times when I crave a grilled cheese sandwich. Weird, I know but on those days I head straight for Broadway Deli & Café (they put bacon on theirs!). Yelp reviewers overwhelmingly rave about the turkey, pear and manchego cheese panini, but I’ll take good old-fashioned comfort food any day.

Open weekdays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., they’re unfortunately closed on weekends. Take your lunch break, though, on their gorgeous and relaxing patio. You’ll head back to work feeling very Zen! Broadway Deli & Café is located downtown at 313 N Broadway. Reach them by phone at 406-281-8568.

    Juliano’s Restaurant

If you crave fresh seafood, head to the über charming Juliano’s at 2912 7th Ave N in Billings. Chef Carl Kurokawa hails from Hilo on the Big Island of Hawaii and has fresh seafood flown in from the 50th state ― lucky us!

Try the mahimahi or the roasted Hawaiian prawn mac & cheese. Chef Carl changes the menu up every month so you’ll always have something new to try.

Whatever you decide on, take a table on the patio, nestled under the trees. You’ll sit under pink and green umbrellas perched atop flowered tablecloths on a patio that helps Juliano’s live up to its reputation as 2015’s Most Romantic Restaurant in Billings.

Juliano’s is open for lunch and dinner and you can make reservations by calling (406) 248-6400. Find them online on Facebook.
