    Sure, there’s still a bit of a nip in the air, and we’re headed for some spring showers, but don’t let that stop you from getting out and enjoying Billings this April, 2017!

    April 1

    Rescued and Reclaimed

    Shop from among dealers from all over Montana and Wyoming for everything from repurposed to vintage and antique items. Hours on Friday are from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and admission is $15. On Saturday you’ll pay only $5 and you can shop from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Learn more about the event by clicking here.

    Ladies Fight Night

    Get ready for an all ladies MMA fight card at Rimrock Auto Arena. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and you can purchase your tickets online here.


    April 1 and 2

    The 66th Annual Al Bedoo Shrine Circus

    A fundraiser for the Al Bedoo Shriners, the Al Bedoo Shrine Circus features tigers, elephants, clowns, poodles and more! Check their Facebook page for the details.


    April 2

    Purple 5K

    The 8th Annual Purple 5K is all set to donate all proceeds from the race to Spare Change for Real Change. Join them at Grandview Park (Elevation Ave. in Billings) from 9 a.m. until noon. Get details and sign up online at 4realchange.org.


    April 7 through 9

    Gun Show

    Friday, Saturday and Sunday head to MetraPark for the Billings Gun Show. Hours are:

    • Friday – 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Saturday – 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
    • Sunday – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    Admission is $6.


    April 8

    2nd Annual Run for Love

    Last year, the Run for Love’s innaugeral, brought in nearly $2,000 and we know they can do much better this year with more support from the community. They already have twice the signups from last year. Need details or want to volunteer? Call Jessica Mussetter at (406) 672 – 4363 or Jessica Weeding at (406) 696 – 3621. All proceeds go directly to families of children with cancer.


    April is Easter so get on out to ZooMontana to meet and greet the Easter Bunny, Spider Man and participate in the scavenger hunt. Hours are 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Learn more online at zoomontana.org.

    Comedy Because 2017

    Comedy because is the annual fundraising event for The Center for Children and Families and it’s happening at the Alberta Bair Theater. “Some of the funniest people in Montana, and the United States, have graced the stage at the ABT over the last six years to help us raise the money we need to help families in our community rewrite their stories, empowering themselves and our community at the same time,” say organizers. Tickets are $25 and you can learn more about the event online at forfamilies.org.

    Montana Women’s Expo

    MetraPark Pavilion is hosting the Montana Women’s Expo, where the women of Billings can learn about local professionals and providers of women’s services. Here, you’ll have access to experts in the following fields:

    • Lifestyle
    • Leisure

    Hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and admission is free.


    April 21 – 23

    Mother’s Day Show

    Mother’s Day this year is on May 14, so you’ve lots of time to shop for Mom. Get it done early by attending the Mother’s Day Show at Billings Shrine Auditorium from among more than 70 vendors. Come hungry because Sandees is the food vendor. Learn more about the event at visitbillings.com.


    April 22

    Dierks Bentley

    Dierks Bentley is bringing his What the Hell World Tour to Billings, and it’s a must-see. With 15 number one songs to his credit, Bentley will be joined by Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi. Buy tickets online at metrapark.com.


    April 28

    Pink Pookie Gala

    We love fundraisers and the Pink Pookie Gala is one worth attending. The annual even raises funds for Casting for Recovery, a free fly-fishing retreat for Montana’s breast cancer survivors. This even offers hors d’oeuvres, silent and live auctions and more. It’s happening at the Radisson Hotel (5500 Midland Rd. in Billings) at 5:30 p.m. Get details by calling 888-553-3500.

    The Original Harlem Globetrotters

    Choose from two opportunities to see The Original Harlem Globetrotters at MetraPark: at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Get more information and purchase tickets online here.
