Even if you’re not looking for a newly-constructed home, the Billings’ Showcase of Homes is a fun event for anyone that just likes looking at houses. Since I’m also a stager, I enjoy looking at the decorating when I visit these homes. At any rate, the Showcase is happening this weekend so we thought we’d give you a preview, of sorts.
We aren’t dissing the homes not included on this list, just showing you our favorites. Your mileage, of course, may vary.
We chose to feature this one because it’s a townhome and because it’s one of the nicest we’ve seen. They not only have yards, but their location is unbeatable – right on the Heights walking trail.
Not a lot of new construction comes with landscaping, but these townhomes do and the yards are even fenced. You will have an HOA, but they’ll take care of those icky jobs, like snow removal, lawn maintenance, water and sewer and insurance.
Built by Dorn Construction, this home is number 4 on the tour and it’s listed at $184,900. See photos here.
Number 6 on the Billings Spring Showcase of Homes tour map, we love this home’s lofty ceilings and the view of the creek from the patio. It’s a one-level home too so if you’re looking to get rid of the stair-climbing routine, view this home.
It’s a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom rancher with 1,953 square feet of living space. It offers a sunroom, master suite and more. It’s located in the Bitterroot Heights subdivision so it’s on city services and the community offers a park and walking trails too.
This home, constructed by Hanser Construction, is listed at $339,900. See photos of it here.
Built by McCall Homes, and number 11 on the tour map, we love this home! From the gray cabinetry to the huge living room and the fact that it’s a single-level home hits a lot of hot buttons.
Other things to like about the house include the tankless water heater and ENERGY STAR® appliances – money savers! The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in 1,472 square feet of living space. It’s listed at $275,900.
The Billings Showcase of Homes tour happens on Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and on Sunday, the 21st, from noon until 5 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person and you can purchase them at any home on the tour.
You can view the map of all the homes on the tour at hbabillings.net.
